Mandie grew up in Colorado and Nevada and has always been interested in the human body and being active. She grew up playing a variety of sports, including swimming competitively in college.
After graduating Magna cum Laude from Colorado State University with a degree in Sports Medicine, she completed her training at Regis University attaining her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2004. Since that time she has worked in orthopedic rehabilitation settings with patients ranging from high level athletes to individuals with chronic pain.
She was introduced to Pilates while attending physical therapy in high school for a whiplash injury. Mandie found her way back to Pilates after physical therapy school and knew it fit perfectly with her varied practice. Pilates principles of posture, body awareness, and core control have enhanced Mandie's practice and ability to relay information to her patients about valuable life modifications for injury prevention. She has been able to integrate Pilates into her orthopedic physical therapy practice to benefit each individual patient.
Mandie's passions for health, injury prevention, and life-long physical activity have been unified through Pilates to enable her to best help her patients and clients from a comprehensive perspective.
